Q: What is a quiet mind and how do I get one?

Q: What kinds of people come to see you?
A: My clients are adults, couples and teens who have thoughts or feelings that have been upsetting them. They may be anxious or depressed, or may have some areas of life that aren't going well. They might be professionals, teachers, farmers, students, musicians, ministers, entrepreneurs, housewives, or stay-at-home moms or dads. I think that the people who like me best are those who really do want to make a change and are hoping and praying for someone who can help them find a new way.
Q: Will you be able to help my anxiety and depression?
A: One of most well-researched tools for anxiety, depression, chronic pain, anger, fear and worry is called Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Q: How can I have a better relationship with my partner or with other people like family, colleagues and friends?
A: Relationships are mirrors and triggers...they show us what we need to look at in ourselves and they trigger us in ways that can make life really hard. One of my favorite discoveries is that we can make a difference in our relationships with others without the other person having to change, which is a good thing, because we can't change anybody else anyway.
